Visitors welcome! Please check The Gallery’s calendar for current exhibitions and hours and follow us on Instagram @thegalleryatgfc.

Art has been an integral part of human spaces for thousands of years, at least since as our ancestors painted caves like the ones at Lascaux, France, over 17,000 years ago.  The Gallery at GFC is more recent development, but nevertheless an important addition to the experience of being in the church space.  Since its founding in 2011, the Gallery has hosted exhibitions of artwork from dozens of artists using every possible medium.  Originally located in a small back foyer, the building renovation in 2020-2022 allowed the Gallery to move into a large, light-filled, open space that is also used by groups for fellowship events, meetings, and classes.  The Gallery is open every day to the community at large and is free of charge. Artwork is often for sale, with the church acting as facilitator to connect purchasers and artists. The church does not, however, take a commission on sales.

Shows change often on a rotating basis and include both artists in the congregation and those from the wider community.  The art does not need to be overtly Christian, religious, or even spiritual, but should be in line with the theme of any given exhibition and appropriate for a faith community that includes young children.
