TRAVEL WITH GFC

about

“We are surrounded by a society that idealizes quick results and stimulating experiences. The Christian life, however, calls us to be not tourists but pilgrims – disciples committed to the long journey of faith.”

– Eugene Peterson, from A Long Obedience in the Same Direction

GFC is embarking on our third pilgrimage, this time to the Emerald Isle, May 29 to June 5! Like the Camino in Spain and Via Francigena in Italy, pilgrims have walked these ancient roads in Ireland for centuries. Our 6-day walk begins in the foothills of the Slieve Mish Mountains along the Dingle Way and concludes with a coastal hike on the Iveragh Peninsula, following the renown Ring of Kerry.

Our 2026 Pilgrimage is Full! Details for GFC’s 2027 Pilgrimage will be available in September 2026.

Questions?

  • “Walking is a theme that runs throughout holy scripture. The Emmaus story is set in motion when they start walking. Walking kicks off their encounter with God."
