PRAYER CIRCLES

Green's Farms Church has four Prayer Circles organized to pray for the needs of our congregation, family and friends.  These Prayer Circles meet at various times, led by various people: 

  • 1st Thursdays at 11:30 AM with Jeff Rider
  • 2nd Thursdays at 12 noon with Diana Mrotek 
  • 3rd Thursdays at 11:30 AM with Diana Mrotek
  • 4th Thursdays at 8:30 AM with Diane Parrish
This ministry takes about 45 minutes of your time, once a month.  These Circles have become cohesive groups that engage in Christian fellowship and spiritual growth discussions, along with praying the Prayer Chain.  The congregation is very active in this prayer ministry by requesting prayers, through direct contact with the staff and by using the lavender prayer cards in the pews in the Meetinghouse.  All prayer requests are welcome and are confidential.  Contact Diana Mrotek.


THE PRAYER SHAWL PROJECT

This project has been embraced by the women of the Women's Study Group, as well as others in the church who want to contribute to this effort.  The purpose of this project is to knit and crochet prayer shawls for those in need of comfort and healing prayer, and are made while saying prayers for God's assistance.  To date, some 15 shawls have been given to those who need encouragement and support, reminding them of God's love and healing presence.  Become a participant in this ministry and/or suggest a prayer shawl recipient.  Contact Diana Mrotek.
