MIDDLE SCHOOL

Sunday School:  Each Sunday during worship, our Youth Minister and a group of dedicated lay volunteers lead activities and discussions related to the biblical lesson of the day.  Once a month, kids experience our service-related programs that allow them hands-on experience with living biblical values.  The Hungry Hearts program is a lunch assembly line for Norwalk Emergency Center (the kids assemble 200 bag lunches!), and the Cookies & Conversation series gives kids an opportunity to bake cookies for various service programs supported by GFC’s outreach team.  These programs give kids the opportunity to live the discipleship they hear about in the biblical lessons, and to have fun while they work!

Middle School Youth Group: This group is open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders.  We meet after Church once a month for games, activities, service, and discussion that help foster strong relationships of mutual love and respect, and that allow the young people to ask tough questions about life and faith.  Contact Rebecca Floyd, with any questions!

Confirmation: is the group process whereby 8th graders explore their faith in anticipation of making an intentional decision to live their lives as committed Christians.  On Tuesday evenings beginning in January, ordained and lay leaders will facilitate group discussions, reflection time, and faith adventures, helping our youth to more fully understand and commit to lives of faith.  See the Confirmation Tab for more details!
